Terms and Conditions

  1. Payment is due per the terms described provided in project bids. MOSAIC may withhold materials or deliverables until payment is made in full.

  2. Deposits and payments are non-refundable.

  3. Above quotes are estimates only, hours used outside these estimates are billed as an overage at the hourly rate. This is NOT a flat bid.

  4. Project media will be maintained in Tier A storage for a period of 10 business days following the last day of scheduled DI or completed deliverables. After that period, storage will be assessed at $500 per week.

  5. This bid does not include meals, shipping, travel or outside services. For Client’s convenience, a minimum 20% surcharge will be added to all receipts.

  6. Unless explicitly specified, MOSAIC work data, including but not limited to project files, session data, proprietary LUTs, software, or engineering, is not included and not for sale.

  7. Testing will be billed at full rate and be credited back at 100% if the project is awarded to MOSAIC. Otherwise, MOSAIC will bill all testing to the Client.

  8. Overtime will be charged in the following instances:

    1. 8.1. Standard overtime is charged at 1.5x per hour after 8 hours, 2.0x after 12 hours.

    2. 8.2. Weekend and Public holiday overtime is charged at 2.0x per hour (8 hr min); 2.0x per hour is charged for every hour thereafter

    3. 8.3. Studio opening charges are $2000 on Saturday, $3000 on Sunday, and $4000 on Holidays.

  9. Artist, Operator, and Room hours are subject to the following scheduling policies:

    1. 9.1. Booked time is 100% billable, once you have booked time you are financially responsible for this time.

    2. 9.2. First hold - to have the first right of refusal for held time with an artist, operator, or room.

    3. 9.3. Second hold - to have the first opportunity to buy time if client(s) with first hold releases held time.

    4. 9.4. Challenge - to challenge the client(s) holding "first hold" for the opportunity to buy that session time. If a challenge is accepted, you are financially responsible for this time.

    5. 9.5. When challenges are made, challenged client(s) will have 24 hours to respond, after which the challenged time will be forfeited.

  10. The rates quoted for this project are confidential and are applicable for this project only and for the quoted period only. Beyond the quoted period, the estimate will be reevaluated.

  11. Clients must be flexible with schedule and willing to work evenings if needed.

  12. Client must confirm designated individual responsible for final creative sign off prior to commencement of project.

  13. Please allow 15 business days for lab access letters and/or legal documents to be processed.

  14. Your authorization of work commencement is considered acceptance of these terms and conditions.
